Azure Bluet 10 For $18.99 Description

Azure Bluet

Azure Bluet shows its full beauty in March or April. This small perennial is considered a tiny courier of spring that grows about 4 to 6 inches in height. The maximum height it can attain is 8 inches. This winter annual is also known as Houstonia pusilla, native to the United States.

Some people call this small treat  a star violet. The flowers are 3/4 inches wide and can be found at the top of a slender stem that branches only once.  The name star of this perennial is so given because the petals of its flowers are deep-violet.

However, some species have purple-blue flowers. However, the center of the flowers is red-purple with a yellow focal point. The four beautifully colored petals always point towards the sky while the basal leaves and the stem leaves point opposite.

In this way, you can acknowledge the captivating beauty fully.

This plant shows its full beauty in March or April. The buds flower and the small leaves straighten out. There are about seven species of tiny little plant in Missouri. Some may be larger than others, such as Big Bluet with an enormous sky or light-blue flowers than star violet. It grows 8 inches in April or May and can be found in eastern Ozarks.

Azure Bluet are disease-resistant as well as drought-resistant

The plants grow best in acidic soils and wet meadows. They can be grown in dry soil, but when these plants start to mature, it is preferred to keep the soil well-drained at all times. Other than this, it requires total exposure to the sun to bloom as beautiful as it should be. However, total exposure is needed just in the first half of the day. As for the rest, it can grow perfectly well under partial shade.

Also, there is no need to add any extra fertilizers. Just provide a sufficient amount of water, and you'll be good to go. The plants are disease-resistant as well as drought-resistant. It is safe to have in your home as it keeps all the pests and insects away.

This plant is relatively fast-growing, and it grows well, irrespective of its location. The best time to see this plant in its full swing is summer because this is the time when it blooms the most.

The purple-colored petals mixed with the yellow focal point provide a sense of tranquility and peace to everyone's eyes. This blue perennial provides a perfect balance of beauty, color, and captivating sight for the onlookers. It proves to be an ideal addition to your home garden or any other place where you see fit. So, buy the least bluet and make yourself a paradise on earth.
