The Shasta Daisy is a charming and robust flower that blooms for up to 4 weeks starting from late spring. These tall flower stalks sprout from a dark green rosette of leaves. The flowers reach up to 3 in diameter, making it impossible to overlook these beauties in the garden. Even when the flowers have died back for the year, this plant remains an attractive green herbaceous component of the garden with its remaining gently serrated and lobed leaves.
The flowers are spritely and tall, reaching up to 3 feet. Given their robust stem and long-lasting flowers, they make aptly suitable cut flowers to add to a beautiful bouquet. Fine hairs cover the length of these leggy flowers making them not only beautiful to look at but also soft and velvety to the touch.

Daisies thrive in well-drained soil and should be watered off, letting the soil dry slightly between waterings. Deadhead old blossoms to promote more blooms and reduce foliage in late fall to maintain plant health. Fertilize once in spring for best results.

How to Grow and Care for Bare Root Perennials, Tubers, and Bulbs
