Hills Privet Hedge Description

Hills Privet Hedge

Hill's Privet (Ligustrum x hills) is an evergreen that has burgundy leaves. The evergreen of this plant is fantastic. Leaves stay on the plants until spring, and the buds and new leaves push the old ones off. This plant is a spring bloomer with delicate white flowers that give way to deep dark green glossy, dense foliage.

Hill's Privet plant is a new cultivar and is exotic for the privet family

Plant 2 or 3 of these plants in a hole and get an instant privacy screen for protection against sound, wind, and lights. Erosion is also another attribute of this beauty. With dense, thick roots, it's a perfect choice to prevent erosion. It can be shaped into any form, and it grows pyramidal on its own. Very cold weather hardy in zones 2-9, and it's a very stable evergreen shrub for upscale landscaping. This shrub prefers full sun to partial shade in well-drained soil. But it can tolerate many soil types.

Hill's Privet is available online at Tn Nursery
