Shasta Daisy: An Excellent Choice for Any Garden

Erigeron annus, more commonly known as Daisy Fleabane, is a perennial plant that is an attractive addition to any garden. This plant, comprised of composite flowers, possesses hairy stems and leaves. Because it belongs to the daisy species, it is easily recognizable with its sunny yellow center surrounded by ray-like petals. One of the great qualities of this particular plant is that the petals bloom in various colors, including orange, yellow, violet, white, and pink.

Shasta Daisy typically blooms in late spring or early to mid-summer

The versatility of this plant makes it an appealing choice for any garden, even those with amateur caretakers because they require minimal care and are extremely easy to grow.

One advantage of growing this plant is that, when fully bloomed, they can be easily cut to fit into any bouquet or flower arrangement. Interestingly, the leaves of this flower are edible and good for you! They contain a compound called caffeic acid, which has antioxidant properties. Daisies are an essential part of any garden, and the low maintenance of this specific daisy plant makes it an excellent option to consider.

The fleabane daisy has a hot yellow center and white fingers around it. Someone who plants this might think it looks like a cartoon daisy they have seen in a movie. It is fun to play with because it is one of those where you can pluck the petals off and wonder if she loves you or not. It looks like it was made for romance and has a flat top that you will be intrigued by.
