Audrey Hepburn was not only the iconic star of Breakfast at Tiffany's but also hosted the beautiful Gardens of the World.
A great show for anyone who loves behind-the-scenes stories, this series toured some of the most beautiful international gardens. Is it any wonder that it has been the inspiration for more than one gardener?
The "Audrey Hepburn" apple blossom pink hybrid tea rose was named in her honor. She even inspired an ad campaign for the pink lady apple. Pink ladies are similar to delicious golden apples but with more crunch. If you like a crisp apple, this one might be for you. Great for eating out of hand, it's nicely tart, but not to the extent of a granny smith. Pink Lady apple trees are available in our fruit trees section.
