Decorative Vines
Grape vines are wonderful and so multi-purpose. Besides the fruits, the leaves are stuffed and used in yummy recipes in many cuisines from Turkish to Greek. Even the cut branches left with the tendrils on make a very nice flower arrangement. What if you are just not up to all the pruning that grapevines demand nor do you want to wait a few years to get your first crop?
Can you still grow a decorative vine quickly and efficiently? Definitely.
Virginia creepers are fast growing, even for those whose thumbs aren't exactly green. The leaves trail nicely in vases to make a nice centerpiece and the berries, while not edible for humans, are a mainstay for birds during wintertime. Try Parthenocissus Quinquefolia in our mail order nursery. It's very forgiving for beginners.
