Wild Ginger Plant is a hardy perennial that is low maintenance

The wild ginger plant, Asarum Candenese, is commonly known as Canada Wild Ginger, Snakeroot, False Crowfoot, Broad-leaved Asarabacca, and Asarum Candenese. This plant belongs to the (Aristolochiaceae), containing 60 to 70 species of woodland perennials in the genus Asarum.

Wild ginger plant is also native to central and eastern North America

You may often find them on rich, wooded bottomland and upland slopes, banks and terraces of streams and rivers, in moist valleys and ravines, and at the bases of bluffs.

It is a herbaceous perennial plant consisting of a single flower that grows at the base of the plant and rests on the ground. You may sometimes overlook them because they are hidden under foliage. The flowers are hairy with three dark red to brown triangular petals like sepals that extend out from their edges.

It has large and deciduous leaves that are heart to kidney-shaped with a soft and hairy texture. Despite its light green leaves, at first, they gradually darken into medium green over several weeks, which makes them more noticeable. It is a native plant that blooms in Early Spring, and its drooping flowers become the reason attract pollinators, birds, and butterflies.

Plants came in good order, with some green growth on one of the five. My fingers are crossed as I give then the TLC and daily water they require.
