The plant arrived as a root and appeared to be dry. I planted the roots and they have not sprouted. I cannot provide a better review until the plants sprout.

Very disappointing.

I am so disappointed with the purple coneflowers I ordered. I am not an inexperienced gardener, but I admit I have never tried the dry root planting before. First off, it took two weeks for my order to be sent, then arrived in a plastic baggie (I ordered 10). There was very little root, even fewer leaves (some were literally just bare, rootless stems). I watched the video and followed the instructions, planting the same day they finally arrived. Two weeks later, the stems have wilted or have disappeared completely, despite frequent watering and care. This was a total waste of time and money.
