Every gardener has a different choices and requirements, choose the plants accordingly

Carefully selected plants can drastically transform the landscape, leaving you contented. The right kind of plants and shrubs will be a sight to behold when they are in full bloom.

Sometimes it becomes perplexing for us to select the best plants for our garden. These are some of the plants, depending on different requirements, that can help you to adorn your landscape—

Plants for Hanging Baskets —They look great on porches and patios, but if you grow the wrong kind of plants, they might not thrive and ruin the entire look. Some plants that look great in hanging baskets are Begonia, Nasturtium, Petunia, Fuchsias, Lobelias, Clematis, Verbenas, Bellflower, and Geraniums. They can be quickly grown in hanging baskets as they grow and become dense, covering the entire basket with dainty flowers.

Tall Flowering Plants for Backgrounds —Tall flowering plants look great at the back of a flower bed. The strikingly colored flowers contrast with the smaller varieties planted in the front. Some common tall plants that can be used as background are Tall Zinnia, Sunflower, Tall Dahlias, Hibiscus, Gladiolus, Foxglove, Cosmos, Snapdragon, Hollyhocks, and Tithonia. You can match them up with short ferns and border plants in the front.

Fragrant Plants —If you are looking for excellent and fragrant plants for your garden. You can consider growing; Lavender, Carnations, Phlox, Roses, Petunias, Wisteria, Sweet Pea, Peony, Lilies, Tuberoses, and Mignonette. All these plants bear scented flowers that can soothe your senses.

Edging Plants —Some of the plants grown on the edge of flower beds are Lobelia, Ageratum, Begonia, English Daisy, Viola, Dwarf Zinnia, and Pansy. These tiny plants look striking against the taller ones planted at the back.

Plants for Window Boxes —If you plan to grow beautiful plants in a window box and place them on the balcony or windowsill, you can grow Lantana, Petunia, Verbena, Vinca, Ivy, Celosia, Alyssum, and Geraniums.
