Fruit trees from TN Nursery can be one of the most rewarding additions you can make to any backyard, garden, orchard, or winery. If properly cared for, they can still bear abundant produce decades from now. Our diverse selection of bare-root ones is ready to ship and can be immediately planted.

Fruit Trees Is a Long-Term Investment

They force you to plan as you choose backyard or garden placement. You must allow enough room for the fully mature one to spread out its branches. Nurturing and growing one also takes time and care. It will sometimes take several years from the initial planting before it bears its first produce.

Consider the longevity of these as you make your plans as well. Peach type typically bears it for up to 20 years before they stop producing. Almond types can grow up to 50 years and persimmons for up to 75 years. Full-sized apple types have been known to bear produce for 150 years, so long as their branches don't break. A pomegranate type can remain productive for 200 years or longer!

Fruit Tree Varieties and Pollination

If you want to add a single fruit tree to your backyard or garden, we have a selection of self-pollinating options. These types can pollinate themselves without needing additional ones of the same kind. Wind, birds, and bees do all the pollination work, resulting in a fresh harvest season. Certain species of apples and plums require cross-pollination, which can only happen with multiple ones.

Tropical Fruit Trees from TN Nursery

Tropical plants are a great way to wow visitors and guests, since they are less common than other types in the U.S. Pineapples, kiwis, bananas, and dragons, can all be found in our selection here at T.N. Nursery. Tropical plants are surprisingly low maintenance and can be nurtured in a greenhouse for an extended time before transplanting them to a garden or orchard.

We dig all ours and prepare the roots before shipping them to you. When they arrive, the fruit trees will be dormant and ready for planting. Any necessary instructions, such as soaking the roots for a few hours before planting, will be included with your order. Depending on their species, it will take several years before they bear fruit, but it will be worth the time and effort!
