Good bare root ferns!

I have purchased bare root ferns from another nursery in the past and these roots are larger, for sure. I planted them immediately in potting soil in a large container, which is how I get the plants started in the first year. Looking forward to my new fern forest beginning in the spring!

So far, very happy. After a couple days, I already have new fronds coming up on some. Looked healthy when I got them so I am confident I will get good results from all of them.

Exposure

Ferns thrive in low to medium light conditions, preferring indirect sunlight or dappled shade. They do best in environments with filtered light, making them ideal for shaded gardens or indoor spaces away from direct sun, which can scorch their delicate fronds.
