Planting Evergreen Trees
The winter can be a bleak time for many yards and gardens. However, with a few evergreen trees planted there, you will have greenery all year. Many great evergreen trees look lovely and give you that lush, green look all year. Loblolly Pine Trees This pine tree is excellent for giving you more privacy and adding green to your yard. This pine tree grows from 60 to 90 feet tall and needs full to partial sunlight. It is a vast tree, growing to 25 and 35 feet wide. It makes it perfect as a border tree that gives you plenty of shade and green needles. It is a fast grower, growing at about 2 feet per year, so you will have a very tall tree relatively quickly. Loblolly pine trees transplant easily and can be grown in most soil types. As it ages, it loses its lower branches, so tree trimming won't be needed for these shade trees.
Evergreen Tree Advantages
Yellow Pine Trees :This variety of pine trees can grow to be enormous, up to 100 and 160 feet tall. The trunk grows to be between 2 and 4 feet around. When yellow pine trees mature, they have bark as thick as 4 inches. But, you can plant them as close together as 4 feet. They are happy in a wide range of soils, and they are hardy trees that can withstand a lot. They have a deep system of roots that can go deep to find moisture, even if planted in dry soils. Yellow pine trees will grow in dry conditions and do well in moist ones.
Evergreen Trees Offer Year Round Greenery
They are hard against extreme heat and cold, making them a perfect tree to grow in areas with hot summers and cold winters that many trees cannot withstand. Spruce Pine Trees have a soft texture that makes them unique among pines. They tolerate poor soils as well as dry soils and wet soils. It will even grow well in soils that don't drain well. They are good in urban atmospheres and can be grown along a road. They are also long-lived, becoming fully mature between 65 and 75. They can also serve as outdoor Christmas trees, as the young trees are often sold for Christmas use because of their classic shape.
