    Dogwoods arrived with no damage to the shipping box and the roots were moist and stems quite green. Soaked the roots overnight and planted both the next day in nursery grade topsoil with added nutrients. Placed them in a protected location away from harsh winds. Now to wait for spring and see if they leaf out.

    I'll admit to being a bit apprehensive when my tree arrived. It was dormant. It arrived the same time as the kwanzan cherry trees which also were dormant. I planted them all the same day. The cherry trees took off and are growing at an amazing rate. After 5-weeks the kousa is starting to bud and looks good. It's a welcome addition and my wife loves the tree! Will buy from this nursery again.
