Goldenseal Plant

I’m very pleased with my Goldenseal! It arrived healthy and well packaged, and it has settled in nicely in my garden.

The Goldenseal arrived bare root and I planted it in a cool, shaded woodland bed. It has established nicely and looks very healthy. I especially appreciate being able to find less-common native woodland plants like this.

I purchased 5 goldenseal plants in the fall. The plants came quickly and were alive and mature enough that I was able to divide them until I had 3 dozen. By May, more than 20 had shot up with new leaves, not including what the rabbits claimed. Very satisfied!

Ordering was easy and fulfillment was well processed. I like the tracking information so I was ready to pull my package from the mailbox almost immediately.

I haven’t planted them yet. Today is the day.

The roots appeared to be healthy and firm. I couldn't plant them until yesterday. Still had to put them in pots due to the weather. I'm looking forward to seeing them come up. TY! Very prompt delivery.

I was happy to see the Goldenseal offered. It is a hard to find plant where I live.
The bare roots that I got were tiny, but then ...I didn't pay much for them.
They look healthy...just very small.

Goldenseal Plant

Package arrived as promised. Roots may have been on the dry side but that may be the way they were supposed to be sent. Would order again I think.

The roots were large and looked robust, they haven't come up yet, but I think they will be healthy plants.

Bare root plants arrived in a plastic bubble-wrap lined paper envelope. Make sure to open the package as soon as you receive it and put the roots in bowls of water to prevent dehydration before planting. All are in the ground now. Some sprouts grew indoors while waiting to be planted, but I fear rabbits or other animals might be enjoying the sprouts now that they are in the garden, since I don’t see outdoor growth yet and some previously visible sprouts are no longer visible. Thankfully, many growing tips were sent, so some should survive. The bare roots were easy to plant between roots of existing mature native white pines (Pinus strobus). Container plants would have required much more excavation of pine roots to get the additional soil and root volume into the ground.

Planted them both soon as they came in. Both have small growth popping threw soil. 1st time ordering from this company. will buy plants again
