We ship all plants usps priority mail. They arrive to most locations within 2-3 days. We package all plants to retain moisture to up to 10 days in transit. All plants ships from our warehouses in Tennessee. All plants are grown and shipped from out Altamont (zip) 37301 location. We do drop ship for re-sellers also for those wanting to resell our plants.

How We Protect Your Plants For Transit

All plants are dug and immediately taken to our warehouse and tera-sorb moisture retention gel is applied to the roots and then wrapped in plastic to retain superior moisture for transit. They are placed in corogated cardboard shipping boxes for protection when shipped

Upon Receipt Of Your Plants

Upon receipt of your plants, unpack and unwrap the roots and mist with water. Plant within 24-48 hours. If you can not plant within this time frame, put your plants in a cool location (ex- basement, garage or cellar) and water the roots daily. Cover them back up with the plastic so they will not dry out until you can plant them. After planted, water every evening after the sun goes down for 5 days.

California Privet Hedge

Flowering Time: California Privet Hedge bloom in early summer, with fruit and seed production continuing to fall. How Long It Flowers: Early summer to midsummer. Flowers mature into small black berries. Flower Color: Creamy white flower. Leaves are green on the top and greenish yellow on the underneath. The leaves change to yellow in the fall. Soil Requirements: Fine to medium soil textures and dry to moist. 20 feet depth needed for the roots. Pruning: It handles pruning well and is best pruned a couple of times in the summer.

California Privet Hedge is one of the most sought-after plants because it's an evergreen hedge plant that makes an excellent noise barrier, privacy and works well in most soils and climates. Privet hedges are fast and durable, and they also grow fast and create the perfect accents to a home or landscaping where fences are needed. Ideal places to plant hedges are around sidewalks or near home where required privacy is a must. You can not go wrong with the California privet hedge plants. It's one of the hardiest plants on the planet and hardy growing in zones 4-9. Privet plants are thick and dense making them being able to be molded and designed to make significant outdoor arbors and topiary designs.

California Privet Hedge are cold hardy and can do exceptionally when planted in even colder climates.

 

They also do well in mountain areas and in places where it is drought or heavy rainfall. They also thrive when planted in full sunlight and grow 1-2 feet in height and width per year. Bloom season is mid-spring to early April. Blooms are white and vibrant and work well with other type shrubs. The California privet plants have glossy leaves and are very dark green emerald in color.

 

California Privet Hedges are large rooted plants with stable roots also.
