When you wake up in the morning, you've seen dew on the grass. But, what is it?
When a surface loses heat and gets cooler, moisture in the air condenses faster than it can evaporate. This makes little dewdrops of water form on surfaces like grass. Some people playfully think dew is the water source fairies drink from.
In the Jewish Torah, it's said that "Every blade of grass has an angel that bends over it and whispers, 'Grow, grow'." Sometimes it's comforting that even basic things like dewdrops on the grass in the morning have excited our imaginations so much that they've made their way into our folklore or religious traditions.
