White Hibiscus Description

White Hibiscus

White Hibiscus (Rose of Sharon) growing season starts to flourish mid-summer and continues to show its glory till late fall.

We've often seen moons and admired their beauty from afar, but what if we could bring the same beauty to our gardens or landscapes? White hibiscus provides us with the same beauty, and it will undoubtedly light up our nights. This shrub is mainly native to Tropical Asia and is sometimes referred to as tropical hibiscus. The beauty of these Luna white hardy hibiscus will undoubtedly grab the attention of anyone who passes by them.

To see the white flowers on a whole roll, you need to wait for the sun to go down. Once the moonlight strikes the white petals of the flowers, you will be left amazed. The white flowers will glow and breathe life into everything that surrounds them.

If you tear your gaze from the beautiful flowers, you can see the dark green foliage that resides underneath the flower, which is just as aesthetically pleasing. The green foliage perfectly complements the white color of the flowers and their mesmerizing red center. These shrubs are the epitomes of beauty, splendor, and exquisiteness.

White Hibiscus (Rose of Sharon) requires full sun to bloom optimally

The plant acquires an average height of about 8-12 feet and a spread of about 74 inches. The growing season of this tree form starts to flourish mid-summer and continues to show its glory till late fall. The flowers have a creamy and glossy white color in early spring that later changes into a beautiful warm yellow, red, orange, purple, or peach in fall.

This plant will certainly stand out amidst the sea of colors in the landscape. The white plant needs full sun to flower and bloom optimally.

Each day, it needs 6 hours of sunlight exposure to grow better. These white blooms require draining soil to bloom perfectly. However, there isn't any specific preference for pH levels. They can flourish well in acidic as well as alkaline soil conditions. The shrubs prefer moist soil, but they can tolerate drought as well. Some people also consider it an award winner because it combats heat and drought conditions. It is also safe from all kinds of infections, pests, and diseases.

They require very little maintenance. You need to water the shrub if the soil dries out, and, to boost the growth, you can add organic matter into the soil. The white shrub might need some pruning, but that's pretty much it. It is best to prune the hibiscus in early spring

If you want to enhance the aesthetic appeal of your landscape and want it to shine brighter than the moon, you need to buy white hibiscus at the first chance you get. The bright petals and the dark green foliage will undoubtedly be worth it.
