Description

Silky Dogwood - Cornus amomum

Silky Dogwood – Cornus amomum. There are many varieties and sizes of Dogwoods– from low growing shrubs to the rounded trees. Many sport beautiful flowers, striking winter stem colors in reddish-purple and olive green, and produce berries used as food for wildlife. Most dogwood plants have rich color fall foliage. The plants prefer a range from full sunny to generally open shade contact and planted in fertile soil that retains moisture. All favor fertile soils that are moisture retaining between rainfalls. The Silky Dogwood is essential in gardens. They work with roughly all other species and cultivars growing four seasons of significance.

Silky Dogwood is an appealing tree.

This tree gets its name from the smooth hairs found on the twigs' base and leaves on this plant. These show up on the twigs and leaves throughout the entire year. It is a fantastic plant for ranges that may have regular flooding, as it flourishes in wet soils. This tree is excellent throughout the whole year with its shading changes and delightful blooms. Regardless of what time of year, this tree includes excellence and life. This bush produces beautiful sprouts that show up in the late spring months. They convey untamed life to any yard. It just expands the excellence of this tree. The twigs appear to be practically lavender in shading. All through the spring months, sprouts and buds will give the idea that will realize the most beautiful shading in the mid-year. The blooms are yellowish-white and are necessary, yet amazing. The blossoms develop in bunches. At the point when fall begins to come around, these flowers will drop and abandon blue or lavender berry. The leaves on this tree just improve its whole excellence. These will turn an orange shading as fall methodologies. Whatever your need is in your patio nursery or finishing territory, this dogwood is sure to satisfy. It is lovely throughout the entire year and will draw in flying creatures and butterflies.

Make this Silky Dogwood an expansion to your patio nursery and appreciate the shading!
