Royal ferns are amazing when grown and provide a wonderful amount of natural green color to all areas they are planted. This fern also produces an inflorescence from the top that appears to be tiny groups of flowers and is also known as the flowering fern. This fern does great in zones three through ten and is also called Osmunda Regalis by the botanical name. These ferns can grow to monstrous sizes and look amazing as they provide an outstanding look to areas. They are great to plant around a lawn because of the heights they can grow to become. They look very natural as they are growing and are very easy to grow and care for. These ferns resemble small bushes or shrubs as they grow and looks amazing.
