Red Crape Myrtle lights up your garden with its gorgeous clusters of bright red blooms all summer long. This sensational tree is renowned for its delicate peeling bark, showy flowers, tolerant soil conditions, and rapid growth. The petals of these flowering trees are crumpled like crepe paper, making them look more elegant. The vibrant blooms of the shrubs make them attractive to the flutter of butterflies and the charm of hummingbirds throughout the summer days. The growth rate of these fantastic red flowers makes them most attractive for buyers. These trees can grow more than a foot in height within just a few weeks.
Moreover, the mesmerizing red trees give out a 6" to 12" cluster of dynamite floors that can add curb appeal to your garden for several weeks and even months.
These are woody plants, including evergreen yet deciduous varieties, and the size ranges from dwarfs to 100-foot trees. The tree's gray bark exfoliates, showing a smooth, under bark ranging from brown to gray. As the tree grows, its branches will droop. Low branches are often thinned to show off the form and color of the trunk. Pruning can significantly reduce a plant's hardiness, so it is best to complete it by early August. When young, it requires plenty of moisture. Once established, it can tolerate drought, is heat resistant, disease-resistant, and grows well in confined soil spaces. You can pinch new growth to increase the number of flowers and branches during the growing season.
The soil needed for its development can be slightly acidic to alkaline (5.0 to 6.5 pH). The enchanting red tree is the true lover of heat and sun. Eight hours of sun per day and 45 minutes of watering using a soaker hose is ideal for the plant's root system. For best growth, use light fertilization; heavy fertilization can cause foliage production to reduce flower production. A light application of complete fertilizer after the leaves appears in early spring and summer is adequate. For the perfect deep red color, you're needed to do utmost care in the early days of growth.
In addition, you can design a great privacy screen for your home or patio by planting a curved bed of shrubs in groups of 3, 5, or 7. You would fall for the shrubs planted in groups as they would light your events and backyard overnight parties.
These shrubs are low-maintenance and are a favorite among home gardeners who want to bring a dramatic pop of color into their yard. While there are several varieties available in many different colors, the red shrub is a favorite choice for those who want a beautiful tree that is hardy and low-maintenance. This shrub is a fixture in the southern states but is recommended for growth in USDA hardiness zones 6 to 10. It was named for its flowers' wavy, crepe-like appearance that blooms in early spring and continues throughout the summer in most areas. However, the bark of this tree is just as appealing as the flowers it produces.
The bark can be light brown, orange, cream, or cinnamon-colored, where it gets an appeal all its own. These shrubs are drought tolerant. It is a hardy plant, making it popular among home gardeners and commercial landscape designers. It is resistant to high heat and tolerant of drought weather conditions. The shrub can be purchased balled and burlap or bare root. It can also be transplanted from containers. They prefer loamy soils but can adapt to most soil types, except excessively wet soil.
They produce blooms without fertilizer but flourish with regular fertilizer applications. Versatility is one of the most attractive traits of the crepe myrtle. You can prune it into a shrub or a multi-stemmed tree. Because of its dramatic colors, the red shrub is often placed along driveways or around decks. It also makes a lovely specimen tree in any yard or garden. When used as a shrub, they can be used as borders or around entrances. Dwarf varieties can be used as a ground cover for an unusual visual effect that adds appeal.

The tree was packaged really nice. When I got it, it had buds on it and they are still there. I'm making sure to give it water at in the evening. But, again it's still to early to tell. High hopes for it though.
