You do not want to trim your rose bushes during the Frost season. That can damage them because the cold can damage them. The best time to trim would be towards the end of Winter. You will need to go by the weather in your state and make sure they are trimmed properly. In warmer states, the best time is late December into the middle of January. If you live in the Midwest or Northeast, the best time would be around April since there is a lot colder. If you need to, you can ask your local nurseries or home and garden centers to make sure it is the perfect time to trim your lovely rose bushes.
