We dig fresh our plants and ship immediately. We ship US Mail, Priority shipping. You will receive a tracking number once your plants ship. All plants will be fine in their packages for up to 3 days after receiving.

How We Protect Your Plants For Transit

We sell only bare root plants. We dip the roots in tera-sorb silicone gel to retain ample moisture for transit and surround with plastic. This is superior protection for plants in transit for up to 12 days.

Upon Receipt Of Your Plants

Open your plants and inspect the same day received. We offer 3 days to report any problems with your order. Bare root plants need to be planted within 2-3 days of receiving unless weather-related problems prohibit planting. Store in a cool place and keep roots moist and covered with plastic until they can be planted. Water for the first week daily after planting.

The pink dogwood is both a flowering and ornamental deciduous tree that flourishes in Hardiness Zones 5-9. As its name suggests, these blooms are a lavish pink color that peak in the spring months. They are used in landscaping to contrast dark evergreens and are known for their naturally rounded shape. This dogwood has a growth rate of 1-2 feet a year, with an average maturity of 25 feet in height. Because of its ability to grow in acidic, loamy, moist, sandy, well-drained, or clay soils, it is a diverse and vibrant addition to almost any landscape!

This tree needs full to partial sunlight to grow and is very adaptable to several different soil conditions. The Latin name for the pink dogwood is the Cornus Flordia Rubra. While the tree can grow during any season in the springtime, it blooms with bright pink flowers. As the tree ages, the shade of pink gets deeper. In the fall, the leaves will turn green and red. Even in the snowfall, the tree produces bright red fruit, and the bark turns the color of cinnamon. This tree is fast-growing and does not need much upkeep.
