We ship all plants usps priority mail. They arrive to most locations within 2-3 days. We package all plants to retain moisture to up to 10 days in transit. All plants ships from our warehouses in Tennessee. All plants are grown and shipped from out Altamont (zip) 37301 location. We do drop ship for re-sellers also for those wanting to resell our plants.

How We Protect Your Plants For Transit

All plants are dug and immediately taken to our warehouse and tera-sorb moisture retention gel is applied to the roots and then wrapped in plastic to retain superior moisture for transit. They are placed in corogated cardboard shipping boxes for protection when shipped

Upon Receipt Of Your Plants

Upon receipt of your plants, unpack and unwrap the roots and mist with water. Plant within 24-48 hours. If you can not plant within this time frame, put your plants in a cool location (ex- basement, garage or cellar) and water the roots daily. Cover them back up with the plastic so they will not dry out until you can plant them. After planted, water every evening after the sun goes down for 5 days.

Pink Creeping Phlox is a beautiful ground cover or cascading plant that erupts with tiny, star-shaped flowers in early to mid-spring. It has 1 inch long, needle-like leaves with long spreading stems. Creeping Phlox grows best in zones 3-9 with moist, well-drained soil in full or partial sun. With a moderate growth speed, it will reach 4-6 inches high with a 2-foot spread.

The Spreading Phlox Plant 

The Spreading Phlox Plant, also known as Creeping Phlox or Moss Phlox, is from the species Phlox Stolonifera and is native to woodland areas in the United States, Quebec, and Canada.

 

 The Spreading Phlox is an herbaceous perennial, moss-like plant that grows low to the ground, it grows only 4 to 6 inches tall, which makes it ideal for rock gardens, ground covers, and borders. The plant is hardy, deer-resistant, and requires little care. Once established, The Spreading Phlox Plant is drought-tolerant and is a pest and disease-free.

 

 It's evergreen foliage is needle-like, with clusters of fragrant flowers that vary in color from pale purple to pink to white with yellow stamens. Each flower has five notched, petal-like lobes that measure 2 to 2.5 cm in diameter. The plant blooms abundantly from March to June, and it attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. 

 

 The Spreading Phlox Plant is best grown in full sun, and It requires low watering and maintenance on well-drained soil. It's best pruned after flowering to promote new foliage and increased blooms in the next season. The Spreading Phlox should be spaced 18 to 24 inches apart when planting to allow for its 1 to 2-foot growth spread

Pink Creeping Phlox begins blooming in April and continues through June in most areas. Also known as Moss Phlox and Moss Pinks, the low-growing plant is hardy throughout USDA zones 3B to 10. In addition to being a beautiful harbinger of spring, Pink Creeping Phlox works well as a border planting. Creeping Phlox cascades over the edge of rock retaining walls, and the plant requires little maintenance once established. The plant is drought tolerant and only needs watering during extended periods of hot, dry weather.

 

 Creeping Phlox is a spreading plant that grows from 4 to 6 inches in height. This hardy plant is available in soft pastel colors including pink, blue, lavender and white, and the delicate flowers appear in spring on dark evergreen foliage. Creeping Phlox can be used to control erosion on steep banks in full sun or partial shade. 

 

 When planting Pink Creeping Phlox, choose an area with moist soil that is well-drained. It is beneficial to use an organic fertilizer to amend the soil before planting, and water well until the plant fully established. Once the plant has finished blooming in spring, the stems may be cut back to encourage a second bloom. Cutting Creeping Phlox back during late winter is recommended to allow for the growth of young stems that are more compact.
