The Spotted Touch Me Not Plants, also known as jewelweed, is a water plant hummingbirds will fight to get to. More than the hummingbird plants, these are favorites of those and monarchs. They are annuals and only live one season but well worth the effort in wet areas. They are easy to grow, and the plants reseed the soil and make new plants each year where the old plants die out. Blooms are vibrant orange and turned in, making it a hit with hummingbirds, especially in mid to late summer.
The Joy Pye Plant is often called "Queen Of The Meadow" because its ability to attract so many butterflies and monarchs is unbelievable to some. It has attractive billowy pink blossoms of soft blooms all summer long and its butterfly's favorite feast. Easy to grow, even in poor soils, and returns every spring to refeed.
