This bright perennial is an herb that grows to one to three feet in height with green leaves and flowers that are shaped liked a big buttercup. The flowers are a vibrant yellow and bloom in the early spring months. This plant is easy to find near marshes, ponds, and other water sources since it needs much water to grow and thrive.
