Pleasant Indoor Gardening Tips
If you love gardening and may live in an apartment or small house and do not have the room for a large garden, there are several options that you have. You can plant small plants like herbs and flowers in a container that will fit into your window seal or another small well lit area. You can also use a raised garden bed for your larger plants if you have a smaller yard or lawn. These are great to hold three or four vegetable plants. You can also plant larger plants in containers on your patio or deck areas. Also, if you are planting indoors, you need to take into consideration that the plants will get dusty from time to time. You can get rid of this dust by gently wiping them off with a damp cloth. You also need to make sure that they will get enough light where they are sitting. Also get a soil that is rich in fertilizer so that your plants will grow good and will be healthy. If you are planting indoors, you also want to make sure that your pots or containers can drain well. You can use plastic holders or old saucers and plates as long as the water will not run over the sides. This will prevent your plant's roots from being damaged by excess water. Also when watering your plants, you will always want to use water that is room temperature. Just because you live in a small area does not mean that you cannot enjoy the pleasures of gardening.
