You've made strawberry jam before. Is there any way to freshen it up and make it interesting again?

Try adding the slightest hint of lavender. Or, make jelly from lavender as the prominent flavor and have the secondary flavor hint of chamomile.

Some other exciting options are beet jelly and garlic jelly. Some people have even made corncob jelly. If you have more dandelion flowers than you need, consider making them jelly. Some people say the flowers make it taste very similar to honey. Give it a try. At the very least, you'll have fewer seed heads to spread dandelions in your yard next year! For ornamental garlic, try meadow garlic, also known as wild onion, in our online plant nursery.
