You will find daisies growing just about anywhere, they are extremely abundant in the UK, wherever there is grass you are most likely to see a daisy. In case you have never seen a daisy they are rather small but very easy spot due to its vibrant white petals and bright yellow center. They are very low maintenance, only requiring 1 hour of care a year it usually self seeds but if you wish to prevent that you should deadhead the daisy. It will tolerate almost any conditions such as chalk, sand and clay. Daisy flowers are tough perennials that come in various colors, sizes and types. These cheerful flowers have an extended bloom time, so they add beauty to the landscape from early summer through the first frost of Autumn.

The most common type of daisy is Shasta, and the simple white and gold flower is loved by gardeners because it is so easy to grow and maintain. It is available in sizes ranging from 12 to 36 inches in height, and Shasta is the only daisy that is not invasive.
