Yarrow Plant - Achillea millefoliumow Plant
The Yarrow Plant is an erect herbaceous perennial growing 1 to 3 feet high with one to several stems. It has hairy leaves that are 6 to 21 cm long. Leaves are evenly distributed along the stem with the bigger ones toward the bottom. This plant produces white to pink, ray and disk flowers. Usually 3 to 8 ray flowers are round. Disk flowers usuallly 15 to 40. The flowers bloom in May til June. The Yarrow Plant also produces small achene fruits at 12,000 feet in elevation. In general, there are usually 40,000 plants per acre.
