Woodland Sunflowers are a great choice to add lots of color and brightness to a garden area. They produce beautiful yellow flowers that also offer a great place for bees and butterflies to visit as they bloom. This flower can grow to be up to five feet tall and grows in full sunlight and partial sunlight. It blooms from August to October and thrives when planted in dry soils and also soils that offer medium moisture. They are also known as Helianthus Strumosus and grow in climate zones three through eight. Birds also love feasting on the seeds from these beautiful flowers.
