The spot should be checked for things such as inclines, large amounts of rocks, space available, and nearby plants and trees. These should be taken into consideration when getting your deck idea. The next thing is to buy your equipment and materials needed. For very good looking and expensive materials you should be wise to look for a look alike. This way you pay less money for something that looks just as good. Now you have got your materials you can begin construction.

First you should get your dimensions and set the corner pieces. Now you should take the side and set the frames. Be sure to make every piece level. Now that the frame is built, the planks and floor can be placed and secured.

Once your deck is built you are ready for some plants, trees, shrubs and decorations such as Hosta, perennials and other plants.
