What is a weed? Basically any plant living in an area where it is not wanted. But, sometimes they can be wanted. Or even useful. Dandelion leaves make a good spring tonic. Chicory roots have long been roasted and ground for that famous version of New Orleans coffee. Tragopogon Dubius  or goat's beard also has roots that some consider edible. Best of all where children are concerned, its puff ball is enormous compared to the common dandelion. Make a wish! Find it in our plant nursery.
