Southern Stoneseed is known by several names. This plant is also called Tuberous Stoneseed and Tuberous Gromwell. It grows to be up to two feet tall, and the leaves are covered in tiny hairs. It produces gorgeous flowers that are made up of five yellow petals and several will appear on each plant. The leaves are rather long and slender and are a darker color of green. They grow best when planted in moist and well-drained soils and thrive in full and partial sunlight. They bloom during the middle of spring and can often be found growing in wooded areas.
