Silvery Glade Fern
Silvery Glade Fern grows best in wetland areas, and of course around climates which are cool, damp, and receive a large amount of shade. These plants are drought tolerant but should be afforded moist to damp soil. Silvery Glade Ferns can reach heights of up to 5 feet and can grow outward spans of up to 4-6 feet. Silvery Glade Ferns look as just its name implies: it is silvery in color, a fact which makes it stand out among all other foliage in a landscape. The Silvery Glade Fern offers a remarkably dramatic impact when used in landscaping, gardens, or when planted in proximity to bright flowers. This fern can be found growing a lot in the wetland areas where the soils remain moist for them. It grows very well in the cooler climates and does great when planted in climate zones four through eight. This fern cannot take a lot of direct sunlight as it burns and damages it. This one looks amazing as it provides a brilliant color of green and also looks good when other flowering plants are added around it. These work well as a groundcover because of the width that they can grow to be. They look great when added to areas also that are very rocky such as a rock garden. These also make wonderful plants to us to create beautiful borders around garden areas and also along sidewalks and driveways. They look beautiful as they are growing and bringing a natural look and feel to all gardens.
