Hickory Oak Tree
The Hickory Oak Tree can grow to be quite large, growing anywhere from sixty to eighty feet tall. It can also be up to sixty feet wide when it is full grown. This tree will grow best in climate zones four through eight and will appreciate a full sunlight to a partially shaded environment for best results. This tree will also need soils that are moist, clay, sandy, loamy and well drained in their compositions. The leaves are long in narrow in shape, making them very elegant looking. They grow wild in the Eastern part of the United States and are quite the staple in many landscapes.
