Harbinger of Spring

Harbinger of Spring paints a beautiful picture when in bloom. They have bright green leaves and produce small white flowers that appear to have tiny red berries growing from the centers. They can grow to be two to ten inches tall and also thrive in full and partially shaded gardens. They bloom during the months of January, February, March and April. These are beautiful perennials and grow in climate zones five through seven. Erigenia Bulbosa is another name by which these plants are called. They love to have moist soil conditions and also like rich and neutral soils.
