The Green Mountain Sugar Maple is also known as Acer Saccharum and has large oval leaves. It will grow best in climate zones 3 through 8 and will be anywhere from forty to fifty feet tall. This tree will also have a canopy spread that can reach thirty feet or more. It will need a full sunlight or partially sunlight environment to grow and thrive in. This tree also prefers soils that are acidic or clay like in their compositions.
