Erect Goldenrod is a lovely perennial and looks very natural when growing in native gardens. It can grow to become around one to three feet tall and does wonderfully when planted in full sunlight. This plant is great because it can adapt to all types of soil conditions and also does well in dry areas. It produces a spike at the end of the plant that is covered with small yellow flowers during the summer and fall months. It can also be found growing in fields and other open areas. This plant also attracts butterflies and bees into a garden.
