Downy Lobelia is a beautiful wildflower. This one grows to be around forty-eight inches tall and loves to be in full and partial sunlight. They can also do good in partially shaded areas. This plant blooms during the months of July, August, September and October. They thrive in climate zones three through nine and is often found growing wild in wooded and mountain areas. It produces small delicate flowers that seem to grow on one side of the stalk. The flowers are usually a real light pink in color. The stalks seem also to have small little hairs growing on them.
