There are many different ways that you can make your own Christmas ornaments. Every year in my home we always used glass, fancy store purchased ornaments but something was always missing.

So I decided 2 years ago that nothing was going up in my house unless it was either handmade or fresh from outside.

It seems like every year we get too caught up in buying gifts, going to parties, etc instead of the real meaning of Christmas. Now every year when me and my kids get together in order to bake goodies for people or make our own decorations it means so much more to all of us.

We make fresh cookie ornaments, glue ornaments, fresh fruit ornaments, wooden ornaments; we decorate with fresh evergreens and holly and even make our own popcorn garland. With so many homemade Christmas ornaments and decorations our house couldn't look any more cheery!
