This shrub is easily grown in average, well-drained soils in part shade to full shade. This shrub is not very drought tolerant as it is intolerant of dry soils. Aesculus Parviflora is one of the best summer flowering shrubs available today for shady areas. These flowers bloom during June and July and cover the whole shrub with a showy white color. The leaves on this shrub are a nice green color and they turn a pretty yellow during the autumn months.
