Blueberry muffins are classic foods. These foods have been made by families for over 50 years. The moist mini-blueberry cakes have a most unique taste to them. Almost every grandmother’s recipe book has a blueberry recipe in it. So why don’t you try to make your own muffins with this recipe?

 

INGREDIANTS

   2/3          cup milk

 

   1/3           cup packed brown sugar

 

   2           tablespoons vegetable oil

 

1              egg

 

2              cups Original Bisquick mix

 

1/2           cup quick-cooking oats

 

1              cup fresh or Cascadian Farm frozen organic blueberries

 

TO PREPARE

FIRST-1 Heat oven to 400 DEGRESSE FARENHIET. Grease bottoms only of 12 regular-size muffin cups with shortening or cooking spray, ZAQ or line with paper baking cup.

SECOND-In large bowl, mix milk, brown sugar, oil and egg. Stir in Bisquic mix and oats just until moistened. Fold in blueberries. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups

THIRD-Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from pan.

This makes a delicious breakfast or dessert maybe even a entre’ side.
