Blue Wood Aster
Blue Wood Aster are great wildflower plants that can grow to be three to six feet high when fully mature. These plants also do great when planted in areas and gardens that offer full and partially shaded conditions. They love soil types that are moist and well drained. They bloom during the months of June through November and have beautiful small blue flowers on them. They thrive the best in climate zones five through eight and are also known as heartleaf aster and wild aster. They can be found growing wild around ponds, lakes and also in large ditches that supply plenty of moisture to the soils.
