Bartlett Pear Crisp
For Crisp Filling You will need:
- 3 ripe pears
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. Flour
- Lemon zest
- 1/4 tsp. fresh grated nutmeg
- 1/4 Cup of Sugar
For Crisp Topping You will need:
- Pinch Salt
- 1/2 Cup of Rolled Oats
- 1/4 Cup of Softened Butter
- 1/3 Cup of Brown Sugar
Your oven should be preheated to 375 degrees. Wash peel seed and chop pears. Put in a medium bowl and toss with lemon juice. Mix in flour lemon zest cinnamon nutmeg and sugar. Combine rolled oats brown sugar softened butter and pinch of salt in a separate container. Grease and flour an 8 x 8 x 2 glass baking dish. Spread pear mixture into bottom of baking dish. Sprinkle oat topping evenly over the mixture. Bake in oven for 35-40 minutes. Serve warm with whip cream or vanilla ice cream on top.
