American Ipecac adds a special small touch to gardens and natural areas. It has beautiful blooms that are white and appear to have a touch of red at the base of the blooms. They can grow to become up to forty-eight inches tall and do well in full sunlight and light shade. These flowers bloom from late spring on into the early part of fall. They thrive in average soils which make them very easy to grow and care for. They also do well in climate zones four through eight and area called Porteranthus Stipulatus.
