Acorn bread has been a food ate by many people thru out the ages. Native Indians used the common acorn nut to make flour to create a form of bread. Since they had no flour until the coming of the white man this is what they made to feed themselves along with foods like corn, deer, and other plants. This bread is naturally bitter but can be sweetened up with a little sugar added to the recipe. With this recipe you can create your own version of this historical bread item. Here is the recipe.
